Eli Lilly Receives FDA Approval for Ebglyss in Atopic Dermatitis

Eli Lilly announces FDA approval of Ebglyss (lebrikizumab-lbkz) for adults and adolescents with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis not adequately controlled with topical therapies.

Eli Lilly and Company today announced that the FDA has approved Ebglyss (lebrikizumab-lbkz) for the treatment of adults and adolescents 12 years and older with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis whose disease is not adequately controlled with topical therapies. Ebglyss is an IL-13 inhibitor that selectively targets IL-13, a key cytokine driving type 2 inflammation in atopic dermatitis. In the Phase 3 ADvocate1 and ADvocate2 trials, Ebglyss demonstrated significant improvements in skin clearance and itch reduction compared to placebo. The approval of Ebglyss provides patients with a new biologic treatment option for atopic dermatitis.
