Gilead Sciences Reports Phase 3 ENHANCE Trial Results for Magrolimab in MDS

Gilead Sciences announces Phase 3 ENHANCE trial results for magrolimab, an anti-CD47 antibody, in combination with azacitidine in higher-risk myelodysplastic syndrome.

Gilead Sciences today announced results from the Phase 3 ENHANCE trial evaluating magrolimab, an anti-CD47 antibody, in combination with azacitidine in patients with higher-risk myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS). The trial did not meet its primary endpoint of overall survival compared to azacitidine plus placebo. Gilead will analyze the data to understand these results and determine next steps for the magrolimab development program. The company remains committed to developing novel therapies for hematologic malignancies. Magrolimab continues to be studied in other hematologic cancers.
