Gilead Sciences Presents Long-Term Data Showing Livdelzi Maintains Efficacy in PBC
Gilead Sciences announces long-term data from the RESPONSE extension study showing Livdelzi (seladelpar) maintains biochemical response and pruritus reduction in primary biliary cholangitis.
Gilead Sciences today presented long-term data from the RESPONSE extension study showing that Livdelzi (seladelpar) maintains biochemical response and pruritus reduction in patients with primary biliary cholangitis (PBC) through 52 weeks of treatment. The data showed that 65% of patients maintained biochemical response at 52 weeks, and significant reductions in pruritus were sustained throughout the extension period. The safety profile of Livdelzi remained consistent with the pivotal trial, with no new safety signals identified. These long-term data support the continued use of Livdelzi for patients with PBC.
