Pfizer Receives European Commission Approval for Cibinqo in Atopic Dermatitis

Pfizer today announced that the European Commission has approved Cibinqo (abrocitinib) for the treatment of adults and adolescents 12 years and older with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis (AD) whose disease is not adequately controlled with topical therapies in the European Union. The approval was based on results from the Phase 3 JADE clinical trial program, which demonstrated significant improvements in skin clearance and itch reduction. This approval makes Cibinqo available as an oral treatment option for AD patients across all EU member states.
