Pfizer Presents 3-Year Long-Term Safety Data for Cibinqo in Atopic Dermatitis

Pfizer today presented 3-year long-term safety and efficacy data for Cibinqo (abrocitinib) in adults with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis (AD). The data showed that Cibinqo maintained significant improvements in skin clearance and itch reduction through 3 years of continuous treatment. The safety profile remained consistent with the known profile of Cibinqo, with no new safety signals identified over the extended follow-up period. Abrocitinib is an oral JAK1 inhibitor that targets the JAK-STAT signaling pathway involved in AD pathogenesis. These long-term data support the sustained use of Cibinqo for patients with moderate-to-severe AD.
