Pfizer Announces 5-Year Overall Survival Data for Lorbrena in ALK-Positive NSCLC

Pfizer today announced 5-year overall survival (OS) data from the Phase 3 CROWN trial showing that Lorbrena (lorlatinib) significantly improves long-term outcomes in patients with ALK-positive non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). At 5 years, the OS rate was 80% for patients receiving Lorbrena compared to 68% for crizotinib. The 5-year progression-free survival rate was 60% for Lorbrena versus 8% for crizotinib. These results demonstrate the exceptional long-term efficacy of Lorbrena in ALK-positive NSCLC and support its use as the preferred first-line treatment for this patient population.
