AbbVie and Genmab Announce Phase 3 EPCORE DLBCL-2 Results for Epkinly in Frontline DLBCL

AbbVie and Genmab today announced results from the Phase 3 EPCORE DLBCL-2 trial evaluating epcoritamab (Epkinly) plus R-CHOP in patients with newly diagnosed diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). The trial met its primary endpoint, demonstrating a statistically significant improvement in event-free survival compared to R-CHOP alone. The 2-year EFS rate was 72.5% for Epkinly plus R-CHOP versus 62.8% for R-CHOP alone. These results support the potential of Epkinly as a new frontline treatment option for DLBCL. AbbVie and Genmab plan to submit regulatory applications based on these results.
