AbbVie announces Phase 3 SOLSTICE trial results showing lutikizumab significantly improved clinical response in patients with moderate-to-severe hidradenitis suppurativa.

AbbVie today announced results from the Phase 3 SOLSTICE trial evaluating lutikizumab, an anti-IL-1α/β bispecific antibody, in patients with moderate-to-severe hidradenitis suppurativa (HS). Lutikizumab demonstrated a statistically significant improvement in HiSCR50 response rate at week 16 compared to placebo. The safety profile was manageable with no new safety signals identified. These results support lutikizumab as a potential new treatment option for HS patients and AbbVie plans to submit for regulatory approval in this indication.
