Amgen Announces Positive Phase 3 CodeBreaK 200 Results for Lumakras in KRAS G12C NSCLC
Amgen reports positive Phase 3 CodeBreaK 200 trial results for Lumakras (sotorasib) versus docetaxel in previously treated KRAS G12C-mutated non-small cell lung cancer.
Amgen today announced positive results from the Phase 3 CodeBreaK 200 trial evaluating Lumakras (sotorasib) versus docetaxel in patients with previously treated KRAS G12C-mutated non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The trial met its primary endpoint, demonstrating a statistically significant improvement in progression-free survival. The median PFS was 5.6 months for Lumakras versus 4.5 months for docetaxel. Lumakras is the first approved KRAS G12C inhibitor, targeting a previously undruggable oncogenic mutation. These results confirm the clinical benefit of Lumakras over chemotherapy in this patient population.
