AstraZeneca Reports Long-Term ELEVATE-TN Data for Calquence in Frontline CLL

AstraZeneca today announced long-term follow-up data from the Phase 3 ELEVATE-TN trial evaluating acalabrutinib (Calquence) with or without obinutuzumab versus chlorambucil plus obinutuzumab in patients with previously untreated chronic lymphocytic leukemia. At 6 years, the median PFS was not reached for acalabrutinib plus obinutuzumab versus 27.8 months for chlorambucil plus obinutuzumab. These long-term data reinforce acalabrutinib as a preferred first-line treatment option for CLL.
