Bristol Myers Squibb Announces Positive Phase 3 Results for Sotyktu in Psoriatic Arthritis

Bristol Myers Squibb reports positive Phase 3 POETYK PsA-1 and PsA-2 trial results for deucravacitinib (Sotyktu) in adults with active psoriatic arthritis.

Bristol Myers Squibb today announced positive results from the Phase 3 POETYK PsA-1 and PsA-2 trials evaluating deucravacitinib (Sotyktu) in adults with active psoriatic arthritis (PsA). Both trials met their primary endpoints, demonstrating statistically significant improvements in ACR20 response rates compared to placebo at week 16. Deucravacitinib is an oral, selective, allosteric TYK2 inhibitor that modulates the IL-12, IL-23, and type I interferon pathways. These results support the potential of deucravacitinib as a new oral treatment option for PsA. BMS plans to submit regulatory applications for deucravacitinib in PsA based on these results.
