Gilead Sciences Announces Phase 3 ENHANCE-2 Trial Results for Magrolimab in AML

Gilead Sciences today announced results from the Phase 3 ENHANCE-2 trial evaluating magrolimab plus azacitidine in patients with newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia (AML) with TP53 mutations. The trial met its primary endpoint, demonstrating a statistically significant improvement in overall survival compared to azacitidine alone in the TP53-mutated subgroup. The median OS was 9.8 months for magrolimab plus azacitidine versus 6.2 months for azacitidine alone. These results support regulatory submissions for magrolimab in TP53-mutated AML, a patient population with very poor prognosis and limited treatment options.
