Johnson & Johnson Announces Positive Phase 3 GALAXI Results for Tremfya in Crohn's Disease

Johnson & Johnson reports positive Phase 3 GALAXI trial results for guselkumab (Tremfya) in adults with moderately to severely active Crohn's disease.

Johnson & Johnson today announced positive results from the Phase 3 GALAXI trial evaluating guselkumab (Tremfya) in adults with moderately to severely active Crohn's disease (CD). The trial met its primary endpoint, demonstrating a statistically significant improvement in clinical remission compared to placebo at week 12. Guselkumab is an IL-23 inhibitor that selectively targets the p19 subunit of IL-23. These results support the potential of guselkumab as a new treatment option for patients with Crohn's disease. J&J plans to submit regulatory applications for guselkumab in CD based on these results.
