Merck today presented real-world evidence from multiple large observational studies including over 20,000 patients showing that KEYTRUDA (pembrolizumab) plus chemotherapy maintains significant overall survival benefit in patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) in clinical practice. The pooled analysis demonstrated a median OS of 18.5 months for KEYTRUDA plus chemotherapy compared to 12.8 months for chemotherapy alone. These real-world results are consistent with the pivotal clinical trial data and confirm the effectiveness of KEYTRUDA-based therapy in routine clinical practice.
