Merck Presents 5-Year Overall Survival Data for Keytruda in PD-L1-High NSCLC

Merck today announced 5-year overall survival (OS) data from the Phase 3 KEYNOTE-024 trial showing that KEYTRUDA (pembrolizumab) provides durable long-term benefit in patients with PD-L1-high (TPS ≥50%) non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). At 5 years, the OS rate was 31.9% for KEYTRUDA versus 16.3% for chemotherapy. The median OS was 26.3 months for KEYTRUDA versus 13.4 months for chemotherapy. These results demonstrate the exceptional long-term benefit of KEYTRUDA in PD-L1-high NSCLC and confirm its role as the standard of care in this patient population.
