Merck Presents Long-Term Outcomes Data for Winrevair in Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension
Merck announces long-term outcomes data from the STELLAR extension study showing Winrevair (sotatercept) maintains clinical benefits in pulmonary arterial hypertension.
Merck today presented long-term outcomes data from the STELLAR extension study showing that Winrevair (sotatercept-csrk) maintains clinical benefits in patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) through 24 months of treatment. The data showed sustained improvements in 6-minute walk distance, pulmonary vascular resistance, and clinical worsening events compared to baseline. The safety profile remained consistent with the pivotal STELLAR trial, with no new safety signals identified. These long-term data support the continued use of Winrevair for patients with PAH and reinforce its role as a disease-modifying therapy.
