Roche Reports Phase 3 Results for Giredestrant in ER-Positive HER2-Negative Breast Cancer

Roche announces Phase 3 LIDRA trial results showing giredestrant plus palbociclib improved progression-free survival in ER+/HER2- advanced breast cancer.

Roche today announced results from the Phase 3 LIDRA trial evaluating giredestrant plus palbociclib versus fulvestrant plus palbociclib in patients with ER-positive, HER2-negative locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer. Giredestrant plus palbociclib demonstrated a statistically significant improvement in progression-free survival with a hazard ratio of 0.72. The combination was well-tolerated with a manageable safety profile. These results support giredestrant as a potential new treatment option for ER+/HER2- breast cancer and Roche plans to submit for regulatory approval.
