Roche Announces 5-Year Real-World Data Confirming Mavyret Cure Rates in Hepatitis C

Roche today presented 5-year real-world data from multiple cohort studies showing that Mavyret (glecaprevir/pibrentasvir) maintains high sustained virologic response (SVR) rates across all hepatitis C virus (HCV) genotypes in clinical practice. The pooled analysis of over 20,000 patients demonstrated SVR rates of 97-99% across all genotypes, consistent with clinical trial results. The data also showed high cure rates in special populations including patients with cirrhosis, renal impairment, and prior treatment experience. These results reinforce Mavyret as a highly effective pangenotypic treatment for chronic HCV infection.
