Roche Receives Full FDA Approval for Tiragolumab Plus Atezolizumab in Esophageal SCC

Roche today announced that the FDA has converted the approval of tiragolumab plus atezolizumab (Tecentriq) plus chemotherapy to full approval for the treatment of adults with previously untreated advanced esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. The conversion was based on overall survival data from the Phase 3 SKYSCRAPER-08 trial demonstrating sustained OS benefit. This full approval reinforces tiragolumab plus atezolizumab plus chemotherapy as a standard of care in first-line esophageal SCC.
