AbbVie Presents 5-Year Long-Term Data for Rinvoq in Atopic Dermatitis

AbbVie today presented 5-year long-term data from the SELECT-AD extension studies showing that Rinvoq (upadacitinib) maintains significant skin clearance and itch reduction in patients with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis (AD) through 5 years of continuous treatment. The data showed that 70% of patients maintained IGA 0/1 response and 75% maintained EASI 75 response at 5 years. The safety profile remained consistent with the known profile of Rinvoq, with no new safety signals identified over the extended follow-up period. These long-term data confirm the exceptional and durable efficacy of Rinvoq in atopic dermatitis.
