AbbVie Presents 3-Year Long-Term Data for Rinvoq in Ankylosing Spondylitis

AbbVie announces 3-year long-term data showing Rinvoq (upadacitinib) maintains significant improvements in disease activity and quality of life in ankylosing spondylitis.

AbbVie today presented 3-year long-term data from the SELECT-AXIS extension studies showing that Rinvoq (upadacitinib) maintains significant improvements in disease activity and quality of life in patients with ankylosing spondylitis (AS) through 3 years of continuous treatment. The data showed that 65% of patients maintained ASAS40 response and 55% achieved ASDAS inactive disease at 3 years. The safety profile remained consistent with the known profile of Rinvoq, with no new safety signals identified. These long-term data support the sustained use of Rinvoq for patients with AS.
