AstraZeneca Presents 7-Year Overall Survival Data for Lynparza in BRCA-Mutated Ovarian Cancer
AstraZeneca announces 7-year overall survival data from the SOLO-1 trial showing Lynparza (olaparib) provides durable survival benefit in BRCA-mutated ovarian cancer.
AstraZeneca today announced 7-year overall survival (OS) data from the Phase 3 SOLO-1 trial showing that Lynparza (olaparib) provides durable survival benefit in patients with newly diagnosed BRCA-mutated advanced ovarian cancer. At 7 years, the OS rate was 67.0% for patients receiving Lynparza versus 46.5% for placebo. The hazard ratio for OS was 0.55, representing a 45% reduction in the risk of death. These results demonstrate the exceptional long-term benefit of Lynparza maintenance therapy in BRCA-mutated ovarian cancer and support its use as the standard of care in this setting.
