Merck Reports 5-Year KEYNOTE-177 Data for Keytruda in MSI-H Colorectal Cancer

Merck today announced 5-year follow-up data from the Phase 3 KEYNOTE-177 trial evaluating KEYTRUDA (pembrolizumab) versus chemotherapy in patients with previously untreated MSI-H/dMMR metastatic colorectal cancer. At 5 years, 43.3% of patients treated with KEYTRUDA were progression-free versus 11.4% in the chemotherapy arm. These long-term data demonstrate the remarkable durability of pembrolizumab responses in MSI-H/dMMR CRC and reinforce KEYTRUDA as the standard of care in this molecularly defined population.
