Eli Lilly Reports Phase 3 EMBER-3 Results for Imlunestrant in ER-Positive Breast Cancer

Eli Lilly announces Phase 3 EMBER-3 trial results showing imlunestrant significantly improved progression-free survival in ER+/HER2- advanced breast cancer.

Eli Lilly today announced results from the Phase 3 EMBER-3 trial evaluating imlunestrant, an oral selective estrogen receptor degrader (SERD), in patients with ER-positive, HER2-negative locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer. Imlunestrant demonstrated a statistically significant improvement in progression-free survival versus standard endocrine therapy, with a hazard ratio of 0.68. The oral daily dosing was convenient and well-tolerated. These results support imlunestrant as a potential new treatment option for ER+/HER2- breast cancer and Lilly plans to submit for regulatory approval.
