Merck today presented real-world evidence from multiple oncology centers showing that KEYTRUDA (pembrolizumab) plus gemcitabine and cisplatin maintains significant overall survival benefit in patients with biliary tract cancer (BTC) in clinical practice. The real-world analysis included over 500 patients and showed a median OS of 13.1 months, consistent with the pivotal KEYNOTE-966 trial results. These real-world results confirm the effectiveness of KEYTRUDA-based therapy in routine clinical practice for patients with BTC.
