Merck Presents Real-World Data Confirming Keytruda Benefit in Triple-Negative Breast Cancer

Merck today presented real-world evidence from multiple oncology centers showing that KEYTRUDA (pembrolizumab) plus chemotherapy as neoadjuvant treatment followed by adjuvant KEYTRUDA maintains significant event-free survival benefit in patients with high-risk early triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) in clinical practice. The real-world analysis included over 1,000 patients and showed a 3-year EFS rate of 80.5%, consistent with the pivotal KEYNOTE-522 trial results. These real-world results confirm the effectiveness of KEYTRUDA-based perioperative therapy in routine clinical practice for early TNBC.
