Merck Receives European Commission Approval for Winrevair in Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension

Merck today announced that the European Commission has approved Winrevair (sotatercept-csrk) for the treatment of adults with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) in the European Union. The approval was based on results from the Phase 3 STELLAR trial, which demonstrated significant improvements in 6-minute walk distance and reductions in clinical worsening events. This approval makes Winrevair available to PAH patients across all EU member states. Merck is committed to ensuring broad patient access to Winrevair in Europe and continues to study sotatercept in other pulmonary vascular diseases.
