Novartis Presents Real-World Data Confirming Fabhalta Efficacy in PNH
Novartis announces real-world evidence showing Fabhalta (iptacopan) maintains hemoglobin response and reduces transfusion requirements in paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria patients.
Novartis today presented real-world evidence from multiple centers showing that Fabhalta (iptacopan) maintains hemoglobin response and reduces transfusion requirements in patients with paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH) in clinical practice. The real-world analysis included over 150 patients and showed that 80% of patients maintained hemoglobin response at 6 months, consistent with the pivotal APPLY-PNH trial results. The oral twice-daily dosing of Fabhalta was associated with high patient satisfaction and adherence in real-world settings. These results confirm the effectiveness of Fabhalta in routine clinical practice.
