Regeneron Reports Phase 3 EMPOWER-Cervical Results for Libtayo in Cervical Cancer

Regeneron today announced results from the Phase 3 EMPOWER-Cervical 1 trial evaluating cemiplimab (Libtayo) versus investigator's choice chemotherapy in patients with recurrent or metastatic cervical cancer who had progressed on or after platinum-based chemotherapy. The trial met its primary endpoint, demonstrating a statistically significant improvement in overall survival for cemiplimab. The median OS was 12.0 months for cemiplimab versus 8.5 months for chemotherapy. These results support cemiplimab as a new treatment option for previously treated cervical cancer.
