Roche Announces Phase 3 SKYSCRAPER-08 Results for Tiragolumab in Esophageal Cancer

Roche today announced positive results from the Phase 3 SKYSCRAPER-08 trial evaluating tiragolumab plus atezolizumab and chemotherapy in patients with unresectable locally advanced or metastatic esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC). The trial met its primary endpoint of overall survival, demonstrating a statistically significant improvement compared to placebo plus atezolizumab and chemotherapy. The median OS was 15.7 months for tiragolumab plus atezolizumab and chemotherapy versus 11.1 months for the comparator arm. These results support regulatory submissions for tiragolumab in ESCC.
