AbbVie Presents Long-Term Data for Qulipta in Migraine Prevention
AbbVie announces long-term data showing Qulipta (atogepant) maintains significant migraine prevention through 52 weeks of continuous treatment.
AbbVie today presented long-term data from the PROGRESS extension study showing that Qulipta (atogepant) maintains significant migraine prevention through 52 weeks of continuous treatment. The data showed that patients receiving Qulipta experienced a sustained reduction of approximately 4 migraine days per month compared to baseline throughout the 52-week period. The safety profile remained consistent with the known profile of Qulipta, with no new safety signals identified. Atogepant is an oral calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) receptor antagonist. These long-term data support the continued use of Qulipta for episodic and chronic migraine prevention.
