Pfizer Reports Phase 3 FORTIS Results for Sigvotatug Vedotin in Lung Cancer
Pfizer announces Phase 3 FORTIS trial results for sigvotatug vedotin, an anti-CEACAM5 ADC, in patients with CEACAM5-positive non-small cell lung cancer.
Pfizer today announced results from the Phase 3 FORTIS trial evaluating sigvotatug vedotin in patients with CEACAM5-positive non-small cell lung cancer who had received prior platinum-based chemotherapy and anti-PD-1/L1 therapy. The trial met its primary endpoint, demonstrating a statistically significant improvement in overall survival compared to docetaxel. Sigvotatug vedotin is an antibody-drug conjugate targeting CEACAM5, a cell surface antigen overexpressed in approximately 50% of NSCLC tumors. These results support sigvotatug vedotin as a new treatment option in CEACAM5-positive NSCLC.
