Novartis Presents 5-Year Long-Term Data for Cosentyx in Plaque Psoriasis

Novartis today presented 5-year long-term data from the ERASURE and FIXTURE extension studies showing that Cosentyx (secukinumab) maintains significant skin clearance in patients with moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis through 5 years of continuous treatment. The data showed that 80% of patients maintained PASI 75 response and 65% maintained PASI 90 response at 5 years. The safety profile remained consistent with the known profile of Cosentyx, with no new safety signals identified over the extended follow-up period. These long-term data confirm the durable efficacy of Cosentyx in plaque psoriasis.
